  • 1940 Air Terminal Museum 8325 Travelair Street Houston, TX, 77061 United States (map)

"Wild blue yonder"

Opening Reception: Saturday, October 20, 2018, 6:30 – 9 p.m.

This is the first time that the Houston art community -through Sculpture Month Houston- has partnered with the 1940 Air Terminal Museum in displaying contemporary art in this historic art deco structure.  These 8 artists, who all have connections to Houston, have made unique installations in response to the site. The artwork is reacting to architecture and history of the space, but there is also an interaction between the artists.
