The post-studio projects micro-residency program is teaming up with Sculpture Month Houston to provide a series of lectures from prominent Houston sculptors!

post-studio projects supports emerging artists by providing opportunities to connect with established Houston artists and show their work. In a similar way, this lecture series provides an opportunity for the Houston community to learn more about the sculptors that shape our city. All proceeds from this lecture series will benefit the post-studio projects micro-residency program and Sculpture Month Houston.

Micro-Lecturer: Adela Andea
Adela Andea presents a conversation about the medium of light in art, how to find an artistic identity in the age of fast technological advances and creating your own visual vocabulary. Andea will discuss the new media aesthetic, technological representation vs. digital reality, the challenge of traditional sculpture to the new media sculpture and collecting new media art.  She will share her personal aspiration about creating new art forms.

Registration: $10
